The Kasur family

The Kasur family—Mike, Georgina, Damian, and Ryan Doucette, embody the hard work and determination that has driven Hydrodig Calgary to its current success as a 16-truck fleet and nearly 25 years of operation in the Calgary area. Mike Kasur founded Hydrodig Calgary in 2002 after spending two decades in telecom construction while farming. His commitment to building a successful business often meant sacrificing precious time with his family back on the farm. While Mike focused on establishing Hydrodig, his sons, Ryan and Damian, took on the farm's responsibilities, ensuring everything ran smoothly in his absence. Georgina Kasur played an essential role behind the scenes, managing various businesses in Wetaskiwin for over 20 years. Her efforts supported the local community and also provided the stability necessary for Mike to establish Hydrodig in the Calgary area. Her involvement in Hydrodig operations further exemplified the family’s collaborative spirit.

Damian ventured into the oil patch for two years before joining his father in Calgary. Here he learned the intricacies of operating and expanding the business, becoming an integral part of Hydrodig's growth. Ryan recently retired from a distinguished 20-year career with the federal government and is now applying that public sector knowledge within the private sector.

Together, the Kasur family's vision and unwavering determination have made Hydrodig Calgary a safe and successful enterprise. Their legacy is not just in the trucks they operate but in the values they instill—dedication, hard work, and community support—that continue to drive the company forward. In an ever evolving industry, Hydrodig Calgary, after 25 years operates with the best trained, and hardest working operator team, and are a proud member of the Calgary Construction Association.
